Over the years, I have witnessed first hand how the Alberta Lottery Fund has helped communities across the province. Whether it is supporting community sports or arts events or providing funding to help build community or recreation centres, there is little doubt that the Alberta Lottery Fund benefits Albertans.

Each year, thousands of grants are provided to support a variety of initiatives in our communities. Without the Alberta Lottery Fund, many worthwhile projects and initiatives would never make it past the idea stage. Being able to support these important projects through gaming revenue enhances the quality of life for Albertans.
